Cooking with Esther: Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookie Milkshake

Yes. You read right. DOUBLE CHOCOLATE!!! Yay!

So, anyways, a few months ago when I was randomly surfing the internet (ah, the joys) I stumbled across a blog post in which they made a chocolate chip cookie milkshake, and I was like, "hey that's a really good idea!" Unfortunately, I've lost the link to the blog, but the idea's been stuck in my head ever since. I actually made it once a while ago, and it turned out pretty well. So today, Esther's going to be teaching us in her series, how to make a CHOCOLATE chocolate chip cookie milkshake. Yum! *licks lips*

And as for the "series" Cooking with Esther, I honestly don't know if it can be counted as a series. I mean, from my previous experiences with series, it usually didn't go that well. If you were reading my blog back when I had Sunday Dollpaper, I'm handing you a virtual milkshake :) But I missed it a couple times here and there, so I really don't know if I should be making "Cooking with Esther" an official series. I would probably post sweet treats that you can DIY in the posts, so say yay or nay and be honest! So without further ado, let's get started!

 What you need:

Chocolate Ice Cream*
Whipped Cream
Chocolate Chips (optional)
Milk
Heavy Cream
Chocolate Chip Cookie (s)

Step 1. Crumble your cookie (s) up and put them in a blender. I'm just using two large cookies.

Step 2. Then I added 2 3/4 cups of milk. Actually, I don't know how much milk I put in, I'm just approximating. (Hah! That's a word <--- :="" br="">

Step 3. Add 1/4 (approx.) cup heavy cream.

Step 4. Blender it all up! So this is what it looked like afterwards.

Step 5. Then I added 1 1/2 cups of chocolate ice cream. * Note: This is what makes this milkshake "chcolatey" You do not have to add this if you don't want to or don't like chocolate. But I'm a HUGE chocolate lover as you can tell!

Step 6. Blender that softly into the milkshake.

Step 7. Then drop a handful of chocolate chips into it. This is totally optional.

Then pour it into any serving glass.

Top with whipped cream and wah la! Yumminess in a cup!

I also sprinkled a few chocolate chips on top for added decoration.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Please comment what kind of posts you like to see and if I should make "Cooking with Esther" an official series!

God Bless
