I Am a Doll

thanks for your sweet comments :)

L A S T  T I M E ......

Kit pointed. I looked where she was pointing and gasped. There lay Human's huge Persian cat. Miss Sasha Bo. The name was enough to strike fear into any doll's heart. She hated us with a passion for some unknown reason. Her flat face (which, may I add, looks like she lost her head, ran, and tossed on a brick wall) gazed sleepily at us. Her large round body was indistinct from her head, and her big, round, dark eyes blinked.
"AAAAAHHHHH!" We screamed in unison. What were we going to do?

Miss Sasha looked at us for a minute, and then rolled around and let out a sigh. A million questions ran through my mind. Why had she not attacked us or something?
"Maybe she was too sleepy." Molly said, almost as if reading my thoughts. Then I realized I had said it out loud.
"Mmm, maybe. But the bigger problem now is, well, how are we going to get past Miss Sasha?"
"Hmm...."
The three of us sat in the still silence thinking, listening to Miss Sasha's labored breathing. I glanced at my watch and found the time 1:30 P.M. Eh, still plenty of time till Human gets home. I brainstormed a bit, and finally came up with an idea. Hurriedly, I whispered it to Molly, since by now she had assumed the role of a ringleader in our little group. She nodded excitedly and repeated it to Kit. Once all of us were excited for this, we set to work. This was our plan: Miss Sasha lay underneath a wooden table. If our plan worked, we planned to build a bridge up the side of the table, over the table, and down the other side. That way, whichever way Miss Sasha turned, she wouldn't see us, and if by chance she saw anything, it would only be the ends of the bridge and we hoped she wouldn't think much of it.

"OK, girls, what can we find to help build the bridge?" Kit asked.
We scurried around the room, gathering little things here and there. This was going to be so exciting!

    1. Agreed. I actually owned three cats my they all ran away, so personally, me and cats are not the best of friends :)
*groans* Don't you hate it when that happens? Thanks!

  2. I love your writing style! This was very entertaining to read. I have never owned a cat, but I have a puppy. My dolls always have to steer clear of her!

  4. You're seriously too sweet, Autumn, to dedicate this chapter to me :)

I have two cats and they're both obsessed with my dollhouse. Jumper loves to sleep on the beds, and Penny love to climb on top of the table in my dolls' kitchen :D They also always have to be in my pictures.

I can't wait to read the next part of this series =)
