Hey everyone! Today we'll be teaching you how to create: a felt covered book!

 You will need:

Notebook Paper or Magazine cutouts or schoolbook paper

Step 1: Cut out a piece of cardboard and mark the width/height of your book

Step 2: Make a line for the spine of your book. After cutting, fold on the line.

Step 3: Lay on felt and cut out felt to the size of your book.

Step 5: Take your notebook paper or magazine cutouts or schoolbook paper and apply glue then glue.

You may add multiple layers and staple on the spine with stapler.

Countdown to Christmas: Decmber 11

Hey everyone! I hope you all are enjoying this mini series, but however, we have to stop it now. Go ahead, cry. Just kidding. This series wasn't that special, but I am stopping it today.

So today we will be talking about the last two kinds of girls. (Well, that I decided to do for this series)

The casual girl & the entertainment lover

The casual girl

Suggestions:
  • A mug or any cup .
  • Knit hat & (or) gloves.
  • Christmas movie.
  • Candle.
  • Fuzzy socks.
A mug or any cup . OK, this is something amazing any girl would love :) You can give them to your friend to keep her hot cocoa or coffee in. Plus, don't worry, they're not that expensive! Wal-Mart and Target are amazing places to get lovely little things like this! (Target = DE BEST SHOPPING PLACE)
Knit hat & (or) gloves. This is something you can almost never go wrong on. These are so cute and they keep you really warm so this is a perfect gift idea if you're going late holiday shopping, Again, Target or Wal-Mart would be great.
Christmas movie. This is a great idea as well. Get her her favorite movie that she watches every holiday season (or even in summertime) and she'll love you to pieces :) Or that new on she's had her eye on lately. You know!
Candle. This is a simple, sweet idea. You can go for the bigger ones at Bath and Body or Target or the smaller ones.
Fuzzy socks. I you know anything about me, you should know on of my obsessions. FUZZY SOCKS.  They are amazing and amazing and amazing and amazing and amazing. My friends will definitely be getting these this Christmas. They keep your feet warm as you work around the house, and if you need to grab something at the store quickly, you can slip your boots right over these and still stay warm!

I hope you enjoyed that!  Now let's move on to the -

 The entertainment/music lover

Suggestions:
  • Phone cases
  • Gloves (touchscreen compatible)
  • Headphones
  • Calendar (read below)
Phone cases You can never really go wrong on these. They are super cute and affordable.
Gloves (touchscreen compatible). If your friend is an iPhone lover, this gift is perfect! You can get these as cheap as $3 or less, so I am definitely getting these for my friends!
Headphones. These are so cute! Mine are Beats, and I know those are on the higher end, but you can get ones that are just as cute for less. I especially love the ones with designs on the sides XD
Calendar (read below). This is another super amazing idea. If your friend, for example, loves One Direction, then you can get her a 1D calender. OR, you can get her merchandise from her favorite band as well.

So I hope you enjoyed my gift guides! Comment down below if these helped you and which ones did :)
Thanks for reading <3 br="">

Countdown to Christmas: December 10

EEK! ONLY 15 MORE DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS!!!

Aren't you so excited? Christmastime is finally here! In less that twenty days :) So today I'll be continuing my mini series on how to get your friend the perfect gift for her:)

the 'tomboy' girl
Your friend is not a girly-girl. She is totally into being boyish and hated standing in the same position for one minute. What do you give her?
Suggestions:
  • Headphones or a phone case.
  • Voucher to her fave store.
  • Skateboard (?)
  • Sports-related items (?)
  • Money
Headphones or a phone case. This is a simple idea if your friend loves music. Or if she's a technology geek. XD These aren't that expensive, and she'll love to add another one to her collection.
Voucher to her fave store. This is an amazing idea. If you're stuck the night before Christmas, this is your best bet. Plus, personally I love vouchers  because they let me choose rather than being stuck with something.
Skateboard (?) The question mark is for this: there are so many different kinds of tomboys. So if your friend's the sporty type, or the one who'll be at the park skateboarding on Saturday afternoon, go for it :)
Sports-related items (?) As said above, there are different types of tomboys. So if your friend is into basketball, then maybe you would want to get her that basketball she's had her eye on.
Money. This is the way to go, girl. Any girl loves money, and if you give to your BFF, what will she put it in? Her "savings" *cough* fund.

I hope you enjoyed this episode! Keep watching for tomorrow's episode!

Countdown to Christmas: December 9

Sorry about the font blurriness ^^^^ It just went that way when I posted it.

Anyhow, on my last post, I got a few *COUGH* requests for the video I had. Well, tell you what, I'll make another better video for you guys. OK? I'll try to have it ready by this weekend, but I'm not promising anything. Anyways, today's C2C post is about holiday shopping :)

I know how stressful it can be to go holiday shopping. Everywhere you go you are literally pressured by all these stores to 'buy more! buy more!' but really, do we need it? Or are we just buying it to give something to our friends and family at Christmas? I like to go holiday shopping a lot! It's fun to go to the mall and purchase small things that I know would make my friends and family smile. But stores just never seem to be satisfied. Constantly coming out with new things, you wonder if you'll ever have enough things for your family. So you build up a wall of worry. Christmas morning, everyone opens their presents and loves the things you give them. Why did I worry? I know how it is. So today I actually plan to do a bit of online shopping for the holidays before going to bed, so I thought this post would be appropriate. Let's get started!

This is a girl's gift guide, but you can instantly change it to suit for a guy as well.

The girly-girl

So you have a friend who's all about fashion, makeup, beauty, and having the perfect room. What can you give her?

Suggestions:
  • A cute little makeup palette.
  • Perfume and body lotions.
  • A little decorated throw pillow. (Trust me!)
  • Light jewelry
  • A gift card to her favorite store.
A cute little makeup palette. Whoa. Nuff said. How much more complicated could this get? Right now stuff like this would actually be more on sale. Personally I would get items like this online, but you can get it at stores too. You can get her her favorite brand to that new eyeshadow kit she's had her eye on lately. Depending on the brand and what is in it, you could get it as cheap as four bucks or less!
Perfume and body lotions. This is another great idea. Bath and Body Works is where I would go. In fact, I want to get some of their holiday scents for myself so it should be perfect timing! But this would seriously make any girly-girl jump up and down! No kidding :)
A little decorated throw pillow. Yep. Trust me. You could get this for a dollar at Dollar Tree. These are super cute and any girl would love them! She could throw this anywhere in her room, so it would make an amazing gift!
Light jewelry . You can get her so much! Any jewelry store would carry the right style for your BFF :) Plus, I would get something Christmas-y as well.
A gift card to her favorite store. Does this need to be explained?

I hope you enjoyed this :) Tomorrow I'll have the next part up:D
Well, better go start shopping!

Countdown to Chrismas: December 7 | 8

Excuse me. I'm a bad blogger aka i missed posting yesterday. Come on. AUTUMN??? Well, anyways, I have news. First off- (You probably won't care) I have an oral book report. On Wednesday. And if you know anything. About me. You know. I hate. Public. SPEAKING........... But the good thing is, then I'll have it over before Christmas vacation, but then I have a poem due the day after Christmas vacation, which isn't exactly good news either and you're probably wondering why I'm ranting about this. Well, I just feel like it. And that's not a very good reason. lol :) Anyways, moving on, I have the Christmas giveaway almost finished planned (finished planned? lol) so I'll have that up ASAP. Also, we have a new technology device in our home, and it is - I can't say this - *chokes* IT IS HD QUALITY. *WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH* *loses it* Anyways, I seriously love it sooo much. So I'm using that right now, but I still want a camera. Will Autumn never be satisfied? Laugh out loud. So, that about sums it up, so I'll show you what I have.

Now I hope you like this, because I worked so hard on it. I have to present you, ladies and gentlemen, *COUGH* A Onedolloutthere holiDIY video :) *cheer* So, this video is all about how I like to spice my hot cocoa up in the wintertime, so I hope this gives you a few ideas as well! Enjoy it! Oh, the link is below, I put it on Flickr so you could have full quality :) And YES! I used the awesome new HD camera!!!! So comment down below if you liked it and I'll give you a dozen of chocolate chip cookies :) (err.. I don't think I meant it) But anyways, I hope you ENJOY this video!

Soooo- *cough* it's December 8 now, ^^^ that was written on the 7th. Well, I-I- made the video and uploaded it, but- well - I want to make it better before I 'release' it. Sorry! Well, see, it was too big for Flickr, so I put it on my YT account. (Yes, I have mine!!) But then I just deleted it.

Any thoughts?
